Key Responsibilities:
Act as the main contact for supplier quality issues at the plantInvestigate and resolve Quality Concern Notifications (QCNs)Work with suppliers to ensure defective parts are handled properlyVerify certified stock is used on the assembly line and prevent suspect stock from re-entering productionCollaborate with Incoming Quality (IQ) and PVT teams to address emerging quality concernsConduct audits, quality checks, and issue resolution for supplier-related defectsParticipate in supplier visits, investigations, and problem-solving activities using 8D, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies
Qualifications:
2-5 years of experience in supplier quality, manufacturing, or automotiveBS in Engineering or STEM field (or equivalent experience)Strong understanding of supplier manufacturing processes, injection molding, and wiring harnessesProficiency in Microsoft Office, blueprint reading, and quality control processesExcellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsFamiliarity with APQP, PPAP, 8D, and root cause analysis
