Stay Dog Rentals is seeking a dependable and skilled Handyman to join our team in Bay City/ Frankenmuth, MI. We’re looking for a hands-on problem-solver who takes pride in delivering high-quality work and enjoys maintaining properties to the highest standard.

In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure our rental homes remain in excellent condition for our guests. The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail, the ability to work independently, and a strong commitment to providing outstanding service and support. Please note this is a 1099 role.

• Perform general maintenance and repair tasks across multiple vacation rental properties.
• Conduct routine property inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure homes are guest-ready.
• Respond promptly to urgent repair requests and guest-reported issues to maintain a high standard of comfort and satisfaction.
• Assemble, install, or replace furniture, fixtures, and appliances as needed.
• Collaborate with property managers to prioritize tasks and ensure timely completion of maintenance work.
• Maintain accurate records of completed repairs, materials used, and time spent on each task.
• Ensure all tools, equipment, and work spaces are kept organized, clean, and in good working condition.
• Uphold safety standards and follow company policies while representing the brand in a professional and courteous manner.

• Proven experience in general maintenance, repairs, or handyman services (e.g., plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues independently.
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift heavy items, climb ladders, and perform physically demanding tasks as needed.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
• Familiarity with vacation rental operations or property management systems preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications are a bonus.

Hourly Rate: $15.00 - $18.00
