Turf Installer

Join Forever Lawn West Michigan as a full-time Turf Installer to spend your days working outdoors, completing hands-on projects, and achieving great results with a driven team! We're based in Comstock Park, MI, but we have clients throughout the state, so some traveling is required.

• $18.00 - $30.00/hour based on experience

Our seasonal Turf Installers work from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday with overtime available. You'll work with your team to install outdoor artificial turf systems according to project plans and client desires. You'll use various types of equipment and tools to prepare job sites for installations by excavating, grading, and compacting the ground. Then, you'll follow project layouts to cut, secure, and trim the turf as well as install edging, drainage components, and accessories.

You'll communicate with the crew and clients, keep the job site neat, and complete quality work that the clients adore!

Here’s what you need:

• Experience using hand and power tools
• Ability to perform physical labor involving lifting, bending, and kneeling
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to follow directions and work as part of a cohesive team
• Strong work ethic and solid attention to detail
• Valid driver's license (reliable transportation would be a plus)
• Willingness to learn more and participate in turf installation training
• Willingness to travel throughout the state as needed

Experience in construction, landscaping, or hardscape would be helpful! Experience operating a Dingo (or similar equipment) would also be a plus.
