US Trades is seeking experienced Michigan Licensed Journeymen Electricians to support a heavy industrial new construction project in Hemlock, MI. This long-term opportunity offers steady hours, competitive pay, and the chance to work on a high-profile site while prioritising safety, quality, and performance.
Primary FunctionThe primary function of this role is to perform electrical installations in a large-scale industrial environment, ensuring compliance with local codes and job specifications. The electrician will be responsible for conduit work, cable installation, system testing, and contributing to the overall success of the construction phase.
Tools and Equipment UsedElectrical hand tools (wire strippers, pliers, screwdrivers)
Conduit benders and threading equipment
Cable pulling tools and testing instruments
Ladders, lifts, and safety harnesses
PPE as required by OSHA and site standards
Rigid and EMT conduit
Electrical wire and cable
Switchgear, panels, and junction boxes
Electrical fixtures and controls
Construction blueprints and schematics
Key ResponsibilitiesInstall and route electrical conduit and wiring according to job specifications
Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics
Set up and terminate electrical panels and equipment
Perform testing and troubleshooting of installed systems
Ensure strict compliance with OSHA safety guidelines and jobsite rules
Maintain tools and work areas in clean and functional condition
Collaborate with foremen and other team members to meet project milestones
Work a schedule of 6 days per week, 10 hours per day (60 hours/week)
Competitive Pay – $50.00 per hour
Travel Support – Per diem for non-local candidates

RequirementsValid Michigan Journeyman Electrician License (must be in hand)
OSHA 10 Certification (required)
Ability to pass a urine drug screening
