Seasonal In-Plant Driver 2nd shift (Bay City

Description

We are actively hiring Seasonal CDL‑A In‑Plant Drivers for our Bay City, Michigan sugar beet harvest operation. This position offers steady work close to home, overtime opportunities, and a pathway to a full‑time CDL‑A driving role after the harvest season.

• 2nd Shift / Night Shift
• 12‑hour shifts, 3–5 shifts per week based on production needs
• Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required
• Home daily; overtime available during peak harvest

• Safely transport sugar beets within the customer’s production facility
• Load, haul, and unload product efficiently
• Complete pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections
• Maintain DOT compliance and required documentation
• Report equipment concerns promptly
• Work with plant personnel and dispatch to keep the operation moving

• Valid Class A CDL
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• Ability to pass a DOT Physical
• Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol Screening
• Reliable attendance and commitment to safety
• Ability to safely operate commercial equipment

• Dump trailer experience
• T‑Endorsement
• Agricultural hauling experience

• Lift up to 25 pounds
• Climb in and out of equipment safely
• Bend, stoop, and work outdoors throughout the harvest season

• $20.00/hour starting pay
