Warehouse Supervisor – Bay City, MI

Pay Type:

Exempt / Salary paid twice per month. Annual Salary: $65,000.

• Supervise, coordinate, and oversee day‑to‑day logistics operations.
• Plan and review, in collaboration with the Logistics Manager, all logistics processes to meet company standards and customer service specifications.
• Establish work schedules and procedures and coordinate activities of workers to ensure optimal shift/team logistics.
• Account for site Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in collaboration with customers.
• Meet regularly with team members collectively and individually to monitor progress, coach, counsel, and recognize successes.
• Promote team spirit through a Diversity and Inclusion initiative and seek opportunities for internal process improvement.
• Conduct performance evaluations of team members and recommend performance awards and/or merit increases.
• Address performance problems through corrective action and disciplinary process.
• Understand labor agreements and maintain positive labor relations with all employees.
• Implement health & safety, security initiatives, and adherence to company rules and policies.
• Provide orientation to new employees and empower leads and staff with necessary information and materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One (1) year or more experience in transportation, warehouse, or distribution environment preferred.
• One (1) year direct supervisory/leadership experience required.
• DOT regulated citizenship or willingness to obtain required credentials.
