Primary PurposeProvide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences in the subject area assigned to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society

QualificationsEducation/Certification:
Bachelor's degree from accredited university
Valid Texas teaching certificate with required special education endorsements for assignments
Demonstrate competency in the core academic subject area assigned
Candidate must have satisfactory outcome of fingerprinting background check. Non-refundable fee (approximately $50.00) paid by the employee.
Employee will be required to receive additional certification within one year of employment in a high need area.

Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
Experience:
One year student teaching or approved internship
