Pipe fitters - Bay City, TX

Austin Industrial is seeking experienced Pipe fitters for their Bay City, Texas location. This role involves laying out, assembling, installing, and maintaining pipe systems and related equipment in an industrial setting. The ideal candidate will have several years of journeyman-level experience and be comfortable working in physically demanding environments. Applicants should be proficient with both hand and power tools and able to follow detailed specifications.

• 3-5 years of Journeyman level experience as a pipefitter
• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to lift over 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined or wet spaces
• Ability to stand and/or walk for 10+ hours daily
• Comfort with repetitive hand and wrist motions, twisting, and bending
• Ability to discern audible alarms and work around blinking/yellow lights
• Familiarity with hazardous chemicals
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and ability to learn new office applications
• Familiarity with enterprise CMMS software and Confluence for task management

• Associate degree or vocational training in water treatment, mechanical systems, or industrial maintenance
• Experience in UPW or industrial wastewater treatment operations
• Experience in semiconductor, cleanroom, or high-purity environments
• Familiarity with handling and replacing filtration membranes, resins, and biological components
