Software Engineer, AI Engineer (Applied​/Software), Backend Developer

We are seeking a hands‑on AI Developer to build, enhance, and support artificial intelligence solutions that drive innovation and operational efficiency across the organization. This role will focus on developing AI-powered applications, integrating generative AI capabilities into business processes, and creating scalable solutions using Microsoft Azure's AI ecosystem.

The ideal candidate is a strong software developer with experience in Python, Azure cloud technologies, APIs, and modern AI frameworks. This individual should be passionate about leveraging AI to solve business challenges and delivering production-ready solutions.

• Design, develop, test, and deploy AI-powered applications and services.
• Build Generative AI solutions using Azure OpenAI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and prompt engineering techniques.
• Develop and maintain Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions utilizing enterprise data sources.
• Create intelligent chatbots, copilots, virtual assistants, and workflow automation solutions.
• Develop APIs and backend services to support AI applications and integrations.
• Integrate AI capabilities into existing business applications, ERP systems, and operational workflows.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Work with structured and unstructured data to support AI model performance and business use cases.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and ongoing support of AI solutions.
• Troubleshoot and optimize AI applications for performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Follow security, governance, and responsible AI practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Stay current on emerging AI technologies, tools, and development frameworks.

• 3+ years of software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python development.
• Experience building cloud-based applications using Microsoft Azure.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Services, or similar AI platforms.
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
• Understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and Generative AI concepts.
• Experience with SQL databases and data integration.
• Familiarity with Git, source control, and modern software development practices.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

• Experience building AI copilots, chatbots, or conversational AI applications.
• Experience with Lang Chain, Semantic Kernel, Auto Gen, CrewAI, or similar AI frameworks.
• Experience implementing RAG architectures and vector database solutions.
• Knowledge of Azure Machine Learning and MLOps practices.
• Experience integrating AI solutions with ERP, manufacturing, operational, or enterprise systems.
• Familiarity with Power Platform, Power Automate, or Microsoft Copilot Studio.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud‑native application development.
• Microsoft Azure AI Engineer Associate or related certifications.
