Job Summary

PHI Air Medical (operating under CAMTS guidelines) – BH407 VFR/NVG (Instrument rating required). 24‑hour operations with day/night rotation. Successful applicants are required to transition to aircraft and meet a minimum service requirement of 1 year per CBA (2 years if a relocation package is used). Off‑Duty Housing is available. External search may run concurrently with the internal posting. You will participate in community outreach programs, adhere to PHI Air Medical policies, assist in loading/unloading patients and equipment, perform line pilot duties IAW GOM, support Safety Management System and Destination Zero, and work with internal and external customers to provide safe, efficient, courteous, and reliable service.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the loading and unloading of patients and equipment, lifting up to 100 pounds.
  • Perform line pilot duties in accordance with company operating manuals.
  • Support Safety Management System, Destination Zero, and other company safety campaigns.
  • Provide safe, efficient, courteous, and reliable service to both internal and external customers.
Qualifications
  • Commercial and Instrument Helicopter Ratings.
  • First Class Medical certificate.
  • CAMTS Requirements:
    • 2,000 total flight hours.
    • 1,500 helicopter hours.
    • 1,000 PIC helicopter hours.
    • 500 turbine helicopter hours.
    • 100 hours unaided night operations or 50 hours unaided + 100 hours NVG.
  • Must meet and maintain the company’s flight personnel weight restriction policy of 235 lbs or less.
  • Strong communication, internal and external customer service skills.
  • Interview and acceptance by customer/PHI management.
  • Pre‑placement physical exam including functional capacity exam and drug/background screening.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Schedule flexibility: 7‑day per week with possible schedule changes.

We offer a competitive pay and benefits package that includes shift bonuses, shift incentives, annual safety bonus, annual employee bonus, and more. Sign‑On Bonus up to $50,000 and Off‑Duty Housing are also available.
