Drive a rear-load, split body, curotto, or automated-side load truck along designated routes to collect waste and take to post-collection facilities;
Assist helpers in loading solid waste into the truck hopper as needed;
Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections and submit vehicle condition reports;
Interact courteously with customers and the public along the route and respond to requests;
Maintain and submit a DOT logbook, route productivity sheet, and post-trip inspection reports as required by law or policy
