The Ice & Water Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating all on-site ice and water distribution activities throughout the duration of a construction project. This role ensures proper planning, safe execution, and timely completion of work in accordance with project specifications, safety regulations, and company standards. The Foreman serves as the primary field leader for crews, maintaining productivity, quality control, and compliance on the job site.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, supervise, and direct field crews responsible for ice and water distribution across the project site.
- Plan daily work activities, assign tasks, and monitor crew performance to maintain productivity.
- Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with OSHA and company safety policies.
- Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and general contractors to align schedules and site logistics.
- Oversee material tracking, inventory control, and timely delivery of supplies.
- Inspect work to ensure proper water distribution, system functionality, and site compliance.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve water distribution issues and job site conflicts efficiently.
- Maintain project schedules and provide regular progress updates to management.
- Ensure quality workmanship and adherence to construction documents and specifications.
- 5+ years of construction experience.
- 2+ years of supervisory or foreman experience.
- Ability to read and understand construction documents.
- Familiarity with local codes and safety regulations
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Effective crew leadership and workforce coordination
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Time management and scheduling expertise
- Diligence and quality control focus.
- Commitment to safety and professional workmanship
- 10 hours a day – night & swing shifts
- Workers will be required to work 13 days on with 1 day off.
- Overtime and weekend work may be required depending on project needs
- $31.00 hr and $120 per day worked per diem
- Medical, Dental, Vision and per diem offered
