Join Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location as an Access Control Officer, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and help support a secure environment through visible presence and professional communication. You will conduct routine patrols, assist with security-related concerns, and deliver great customer service while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, care, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $16.76 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Day Time Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and permissions, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations and actions to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, production areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Support security-related operations by helping to deter unauthorized access, monitoring restricted areas, and communicating clearly with personnel regarding site rules, access expectations, and/or unusual activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
