Course Lead

In 2009, we created Strategos Training and Services, a professional training company focused on providing services, education, and training to United States military personnel.
Strategos Training and Services specializes in non-personal support services, professional instruction, training analysis, training plan development, and curriculum development.
Strategos is seeking a Course Lead in pursuit of a government contract.

Hours of Work:
Contractors shall work no more than 80 hours over a two-week, which may include weeknights and/or weekends. Standard business hours are . Non-standard work hours may be required to support after hours operations. Requirements:
• Assist with development, instructional support, and training analysis for operational and logistical requirements to support NAVSCIATTS. Employ expertise in the methodology of curriculum, question and test development, effective classroom and lab instructional techniques, employment of training aids, student progress measurement strategies and course management. The subject matter expertise and responsibilities include developing, revising, and maintaining courses of instruction and the following: ▪ Writing correspondence in professional format daily.
▪ Using computers, programs, and computer-related devices with MS PowerPoint, Excel, One Note, Navy’s Sked program, and utilization of smart boards. ▪ Utilize excellent verbal and written communication skills to work with foreign trainees. Provide staff and trainees with opportunities to further develop public speaking techniques and personal presentation tips for speaking and presenting publicly. ▪ Utilize interpersonal relationship skills to ensure team cohesion and effectively manage time to meet deadlines.
▪ Utilize Operational Risk Management knowledge and expertise to teach and define risk management which develops central ideas. ▪ Utilize in-depth knowledge and comprehension of written and oral communication principles and practices to present information to key leaders and trainees daily.
• Assist with the management of assigned courses.
• Assist with training analysis, instructional support, and utilize skills in the methodology of curriculum and test question development, effective classroom instructional techniques, employment of training aids, student progress measurement strategies and course management.
• Utilize written and oral communication principles, methods, and techniques; analytical methods; and interpersonal relations practices.
• Assist in analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of curriculum for assigned courses, to determine the need for new or revised curricula. Shall communicate with the Government Representative, Training Officer (TO) and Learning Standards Officer (LSO), boat drivers, engineers, technicians, contractors, vendors, and manufacturers to assist in the development of new curricula.
• Assist with coordinating schedules between Operational, Communications and Maintenance related courses to support end of course Field Training Exercises (FTX).
• Assist in revising, developing, and implementing long range plans to anticipate and incorporate new procedures and technological developments into the respective curriculums.
• Assist with training analysis and instructional support for various weapon systems as provided in paragraph 4.4.9.1, outboard engines, navigation, and communications equipment.
• Assist with evaluating training aids and providing recommendations to determine need for upgrades or changes.
