Responsibilities- Improve equipment reliability by reducing machine downtime and unscheduled maintenance in a continuous manufacturing process environment
- Provide technical support to the I&E Maintenance team
- Proactively support preventive and predictive maintenance programs and recommend improvements
- Complete process data analysis to detect potential failure and implement actions
- Lead Root Cause Failure Analysis and develop action plans
- Provide suggestions for new and existing maintenance procedures
- Perform capital improvement projects and apply management of change
- Read drawings, schematics, manuals, and engineering documentation for equipment operation
- Devise new approaches to complex problems through adaptations and modifications of standard technical principles
- Travel domestically up to 10% as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field AND 5 years’ experience as Electrical Engineer or related. Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field AND 3 years’ experience.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Industrial Electrical field
- Demonstrative experience with maintenance management philosophy including PM, PDM, PSM, and P&S
- Application of norms such as NEMA, NFPA, UL, NEC, ISA, or IEEE
- Experience with petrochemical industry equipment
- Knowledge of ISO Quality Systems related to I&E compliance
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
