The Behavioral Health team at South Shore University Hospital in beautiful Bay Shore, NY is seeking a full-time or part-time BE/BC Psychiatrist.
About the Role- Provide Consults to the psych ED, ED-observation area, and medical-surgical floors
- Team includes Psychiatric NPs, PAs, SWs, medical students, PA students
- New Psychiatry residency program (with South Oaks Hospital) to commence 2026
- Full time Mon-Fri 830a-430p preferred
- Would consider part-time and/or 12hr shifts (8a-8p) for the right candidate
- No nights or weekends, no inpatient or outpatient psychiatry responsibilities
- In-house moonlighting opportunities; extra income for beeper-call and/or weekend shifts
