CNC Operator

Overview

This job description outlines manufacturing responsibilities and qualifications for a CNC Machinist/Operator role, including operating a machine center with tight tolerances, tool loading/replacement, use of standard measuring tools, and reading/inspecting parts to drawings. The position is day or night shift-based, located in Bay Shore, New York, with no relocation offered.

• Ability to operate machine center working within +/- .0005 tolerances, adjust machines accordingly
• Load tool or replace broken insert and adjust offsets accordingly
• Use of standard tool including Micrometer, Height gauge, etc.
• Ability to read and inspect parts to drawings

• Minimum 2+ years of CNC Machinist/Operator experience - Manufacturing
• Machinery Experience In Any Of The Following a Plus
• Milling:
  Mazak, OKK, Niigata
• Lathes;
  Mazak, Puma
• Ability to read and understand specs and drawings
• Manufacturing experience a PLUS
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Knowledge of deburring equipment

Day Shift, 7:00 am - 5:30 pm
Night Shift, 5:15pm-3:45am available. 15% night differential added to hourly and overtime rate.
