Plant Manager

We’re seeking an experienced Precast Plant Manager to lead day‑to‑day operations at a precast concrete manufacturing facility in Bay Shore, NY. This role is responsible for safety, quality, production performance, and workforce leadership in a fast‑paced, hands‑on plant environment.

• Lead all plant operations including batching, casting, curing, finishing, yard operations, and shipping
• Plan and execute production schedules to meet customer demand and delivery commitments
• Drive safety compliance and foster a strong safety‑first culture
• Ensure products meet quality standards and applicable industry specifications (PCI, NPCA, DOT, municipal, utility)
• Lead, develop, and hold accountable supervisors, foremen, and production teams
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements
• Oversee preventive maintenance and coordinate equipment repairs
• Manage inventory of raw materials, forms, embeds, and finished product
• Track and report key production, labor, safety, and quality metrics

• 5–10+ years of experience in precast concrete manufacturing or heavy industrial operations
• Proven leadership experience in a plant or production environment
• Strong understanding of concrete production processes and plant equipment
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, schedules, and technical specifications
• Hands‑on leader with strong communication and problem‑solving skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field
• OSHA 10 or 30
• PCI, NPCA, or ACI certifications
• Forklift, crane, or equipment certifications

This is a highly visible leadership role with full ownership of plant performance. The ideal candidate is operationally strong, people‑focused, and comfortable being on the plant floor while driving consistency, safety, and results.
