Production Supervisor- 2nd shift at Confidential Bay Shore, NY

Overview

2nd shift Production Supervisor (2:30PM–11:00PM, Monday‑Friday, with weekend dates as needed). Permanent full‑time position. Associate degree preferred. Bi‑lingual (English and Spanish) preferred.

Payment: $32‑$35 per hour, depending on experience.

• Supervise daily production operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and on‑time output.
• Lead, train, and manage production staff, ensuring adherence to food safety (GMP, HACCP) and workplace safety standards.
• Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with regulatory and company food safety requirements.
• Plan and adjust production schedules to meet customer demands and deadlines.
• Assign tasks, track performance, and provide coaching, feedback, and corrective action as needed.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste.
• Ensure proper use, readiness, and basic maintenance of production equipment.
• Maintain accurate production, safety, and attendance records; track key performance metrics (KPIs).
• Troubleshoot operational issues and collaborate with management to resolve them quickly.
• Foster a positive, team‑oriented work environment focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in production management.
• Experienced level of proficiency in food production and safety regulations.
• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• Bi‑lingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
