- Provide comprehensive delivery of personal care services to residents on a day‑to‑day basis following required regulatory requirements.
- Ensure residents are treated with respect and dignity and provide quality care as their healthcare needs change.
- Coordinate, train, and supervise resident care staff in accordance with residents’ needs, state regulations, and company policies and procedures.
- Oversee the entire wellness department, including assistants, case managers, HHAs, Med Techs, and LPNS, and remain on call to the community 24/7.
- Conduct assessments, monitor staffing needs, oversee medication administration, and develop Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) for a 72‑bed community (22 Assisted Living residents, 50 Memory Care residents).
- Must be an RN in good standing and meet all State health requirements.
- Experience of 3+ years in Assisted Living and/or Long‑term care.
- Knowledge of state and local rules, regulations, laws, and ordinances relating to licensed senior housing.
- Previous supervisory and/or management experience in a related healthcare setting.
- Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
- Effective communication with residents, families, staff, community, State officials, and the general public.
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to reprioritize daily tasks to accommodate fluctuating needs.
- Ability to develop systems and training for monitoring resident health conditions and ensuring efficient and safe delivery of resident care.
- Ability to supervise department employees using independent judgment and discretion.
- Must meet all health requirements and pass background checks.
