About This Role

The RN Med/Tele position involves providing comprehensive patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role is ideal for nurses who excel in collaboration and leadership within a healthcare team.

• Pay: $52 - $125/hour
• Location: Bay Shore, NY
• Facility: Northwell Health
• Schedule: Full-Time

• Assess the patient’s physiologic health status.
• Conduct patient interviews and explain policies and procedures.
• Assess gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, respiratory, renal, and neurological health status.
• Determine mobility, sensory deficits, and skin condition.
• Communicate and document patient’s physiologic health status and plan of care.
• Assess patient’s psychosocial health status.
• Elicit perception of medical/nursing care and expectations.
• Develop criteria for measurement of patient outcomes.
  
  Formulate the plan of care and establish priorities.
• Implement the plan of care and maintain patient safety.

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.

• Minimum 1-2 years of professional nursing experience in the related specialty.

• Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State required.
• BLS certification required.
