Surveillance Security Officer
Garda World Security Services is now hiring a Surveillance Security Officer. In this role you will monitor surveillance systems, identify threats, and respond promptly to incidents.
Location & Shift Schedule- Bay Shore, NY
- Multiple shifts available
- Monday–Friday, 3 pm–11 pm, 40 hours weekly
- Monday–Friday, 11 pm–7 am, 40 hours weekly
- Saturday & Saturday, 7 am–3 pm, 16 hours weekly
- Saturday & Saturday, 3 pm–11 pm, 16 hours weekly
- Saturday & Saturday, 11 pm–7 am, 16 hours weekly
- Competitive hourly wage of $19.75

- Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
- Document observed events and incidents with detailed reports.
- Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
- Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of premises.
- Control access to secure areas and verify identities of visitors.
- Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
- Collaborate with law enforcement during serious situations or emergencies.
- Ensure safety and protection of individuals and property.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Pass an extensive screening process.
- Strong report writing skills.
- Sharp visual attention and exceptional concentration.
- Proficient with technology.
- Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience is a plus.
- New York State security license.
Employment is contingent on successful completion of a background check and drug screening conducted after an offer of employment is extended.
