Job OverviewDriver responsible for transporting clients safely and on time. Duties include pre‑trip inspections, child checks, and compliance with DOT regulations. Position located in Nassau County, Long Island.
Benefits- Flexible schedule: split‑shift with morning and afternoon shifts
- Guaranteed hours: 25–30 hours per week
- Paid CDL permit training
- $5,000 sign‑on bonus for fully licensed NY CDL drivers with A, B, or C licenses and P & S endorsements
- Starting pay rate for van drivers: $24.37 per hour (requires CDL A, B, or C with P and S endorsement)

- Operate a school bus or van to transport students to and from school safely and on time.
- Monitor traffic, road conditions, and student behavior to ensure a safe ride.
- Comply with all federal, state, and local traffic laws, as well as district requirements and standards.
- Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections and report any issues.
- Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle when necessary.
- At least 21 years old with a minimum of 1 year of driving experience.
- Valid NYS CDL Class A or B with P & S endorsements for buses, or Class C with P & S endorsements for vans (or willingness to obtain through free training).
- Ability to pass a drug test, background check, and maintain compliance with state and federal CDL guidelines.
- Non‑CDL drivers must hold a valid driver’s license and complete CDL permit training.
