Delivery Driver

Parts Authority is a leading national distributor of automotive replacement parts, tools, equipment and transmissions. We are expanding across the United States and are looking for Delivery Drivers to represent our company and deliver parts to customers.

The Delivery Driver will pick up and drop off automotive parts, adhering to assigned routes and schedules.

Duties include:

• Load, transport, and deliver items to customers in a timely, friendly and courteous manner.
• Review orders before and after delivery to ensure completeness and charge accuracy.
• Follow directions from dispatcher, routes and time schedules; use navigation apps to find alternative routes when necessary.
• Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles without interfering with operations at the customer’s place of business.
• Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and address complaints professionally.
• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Accept payments, prepare reports, reconcile account balances and administer related cash and asset handling.
• Complete daily vehicle maintenance checks and notify manager of any issues.
• Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
• Maintain workplace safety and promote safe practices.

Minimum requirements:

• Current, valid driver’s license and automobile insurance with your name on the policy.
• Drivers must be 21 years old or over to meet insurance requirements.
• Ability to lift, move, push and pull up to 50 pounds (75 pounds for Auto Body Parts Collision Drivers).
• Proficient in using a tablet and/or mobile device for navigation, route optimization and signature capture.
• Exceptional customer and verbal communication skills, professionalism, and diplomacy.
• Ability to take directions and work well in a team.
• Flexible schedule and availability for overtime as needed (preferred).
• Previous delivery driving experience is a plus.
