2nd Shift - Warehouse Associate

• Retrieve stock to fill customer orders and oversee the general organization of the warehouse.
• Select and package products for shipment based on customer orders.
• Use technology, including smartphones and handheld devices, to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
• Inspect items for damage or defects before shipment and ensure accuracy of incoming shipments by comparing invoices to received items.
• Fill customer orders promptly by reviewing order forms for scan numbers, sizes, colors, and quantities.
• Move materials to optimize inventory and meet customer orders; operate automated, computerized, or robotic picking and packing systems.
• Attach identification information to products or containers and ensure proper labeling.
• Requisition merchandise from suppliers based on space, inventory, or demand; keep products organized and in good rotation.
• Follow safety protocols, report issues, and maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
• Operate equipment such as palletizers, dolly loaders, pallet wrappers, forklifts, and electrical pallet jacks.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to identify opportunities to improve processes.
• Assist in stock shelving and ensure products facilitate inventory and shipping processes.
• Disposal or return of damaged, defective, excess, or obsolete stock to vendors; answer customer questions about shipments and deliveries.
• File receipts and track orders using order fulfillment software.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Ability to operate various types of materials handling equipment including:
• Hand trucks
• Pallet jacks
• Forklifts – Stand-up/Sit-down
• Order/Cherry picker
• Bendi forklift experience a plus
• Turret truck experience a plus
• Comfortable elevating to heights ranging from 18 ft to 30 ft
• Flexibility for overtime and weekend work as needed
• Ability to read and write in English; basic math and computer skills
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic, whether working with others or unsupervised

• High school diploma or equivalent

• A minimum of 1–2 years of warehouse experience preferred

• Must be in good physical condition
• Ability to stand and/or bend for long periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Good hand-eye coordination

Compensation: This is an hourly non-exempt role. The starting pay range for this role and market is between $17.00–$20.00 per hour. Pay may be affected by geography, market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications. Overtime eligibility applies when working more than 40 hours per week, or as required by state law.
