Contract:

Permanent, full time – 39 hours per week, Monday‑to‑Sunday

We are seeking a dedicated fully qualified electrician to join our team at HMP Hollesley Bay, a category D adult/male prison. Our Facilities Maintenance Team works Monday to Sunday as a supportive and driven family, creating a safe and nurturing environment for prisoners, staff, and visitors.

• Certificate in BS7671:2018 (18th edition)
• Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation or Electrotechnical Services (City & Guilds/EAL), including relevant NVQs and competency assessments (AM2/AM2S) – e.g., 2367 or 2357.
• Two years’ experience as a fully qualified electrician
• Experience working on commercial or industrial electrical systems
• Good knowledge of planned and preventive maintenance operations
• Good health & safety knowledge
• Excellent organisational, time management and people skills
