Service Engineer – Loading Bay Equipment
Location: Multiple vacancies across Bedfordshire/Hertfordshire, the West corridor, and South-East M25
Salary: £32,000 starting (up to £36,000 after probation) + Overtime + Standby Allowance + Benefits
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00–16:30 (plus overtime/call-out rota)
TSM Technical is working with a leading name in loading bay solutions who are expanding their service team due to continued growth and strong demand.
We currently have three exciting opportunities for Service Engineers to join their growing team in the following regions:
- Bedfordshire / Hertfordshire (south of Luton):
Luton, Dunstable, St Albans, Watford, Hemel Hempstead - West corridor
:
Slough, Reading, High Wycombe, Oxford, Swindon, Bristol - South-East M25
:
Dartford, Croydon, Crawley, Bromley, Orpington, Sevenoaks
- Carry out PPM and reactive repairs to loading bay products.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic faults.
- Provide repair recommendations during PPM visits and liaise with service teams.
- Deliver excellent customer service on-site, including training where required.
- Assist with new equipment installations when needed (nationwide).
- Complete accurate service records and adhere to company quality and safety standards.
- Recognised electrical or mechanical qualification (or relevant experience).
- Proven experience in servicing, maintenance, or repairs of industrial equipment.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Willingness to work at heights, in confined spaces, and away from home.
- Customer-focused, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- 16th/17th/18th Edition
- Welding, hydraulic, or FLT/IPAF experience.
- Knowledge of loading bay systems
- £32,000 starting salary – rising to £36,000 after probation.
- Overtime rates: time-and-a-half/double-time.
- Call-out payment: £240/week (1 in 5 rota).
- Staying away allowance: £34/night.
