Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience in project coordination for a telecommunications company
- Hands-on experience with project scheduling between customers, vendors, technicians, etc.
- Customer facing experience & telecom acumen
- Ticketing systems experience and data entry (excel strongly preferred)
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail
- Ability be eligible to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Telecom Project Coordinator to support a federal government project for network site activation. In this role, you will assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of various project activities, ensuring that all milestones are met on time. You will serve as a key point of contact for project stakeholders, including federal government representatives, contractors, and internal teams, facilitating clear and timely communication.
Your responsibilities will include maintaining comprehensive project documentation, developing, and managing project schedules, and coordinating meetings and project-related events. Additionally, you will identify potential project risks and issues, working closely with the project manager to develop mitigation strategies. The ideal candidate will have an associate’s degree or a minimum of three years of experience in project coordination in the telecommunications industry or with federal government projects.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in project management software are essential. This position is fully remote with the ability to work your specific time zone. Pay range is $27-29/HR.
