Role Responsibilities:
- Lead business and technical requirements analysis for Veeva Medical CRM, Veeva Medical Vault, and Medical Affairs systems; translate Medical processes into scalable, compliant designs.
- Configure and optimize Veeva CRM components (Medical Inquiry, Call Reporting, Key Medical Insights, Events, Approved email, Consent Management, Page layout, Profiles, Permission sets, Sharing Rule).
- Design and configure Veeva Vault (objects, relationships, life cycles, workflows, user roles, document types, and metadata) for scientific content management and medical review.
- Define and support AI-driven Medical Affairs workflows (automated medical inquiry categorization; sentiment and topic analysis of MSL interactions; identify emerging medical insights).
- Collaborate to extract insights from CRM and other data sources using AI/digital tools.
- Define and maintain Veeva data models and data quality standards for AI/ML readiness (reference data, picklists, field dependencies, master data governance).
- Partner with integration teams to design and validate integrations using Veeva/Vault APIs, middleware, and connectors with MDM, ERP, data lakes, and analytics tools.
- Support multi-country deployments, localization, and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, EMA).
- BS/BA with 8+ years relevant experience, or MS with 6+ years.
- Experience partnering with technology teams and driving value in Medical Affairs using Veeva Medical CRM, Veeva Medical Vault, and Salesforce.
- Knowledge of Medical Affairs processes/systems and industry trends.
- Experience with Jira and Agile product/backlog management (Scrum/Kanban).
- Ability to partner with data science/integration teams to build and operationalize AI solutions (APIs/middleware/AI-ML platforms such as NLP, LLMs, predictive analytics).
- Ability to manage competing priorities across stakeholders; excellent interpersonal communication.
- Experience with technology capability identification/selection/implementation/operations.
- Strong problem-solving.
