LPN Night

MJHS is seeking a compassionate LPN for night shifts to support patients across hospice, home care, and long-term care settings. In this part-time role, you'll provide bedside nursing care, administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document in the EMR while supporting patient comfort and safety. You'll collaborate with an interprofessional team in a mission-driven, community-focused organization that values dignity, respect, and holistic care, with opportunities for training, growth, and advancement in a respected Brooklyn-based health system.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside nursing care to patients during night shift under RN and physician direction
• Administer medications and treatments following care plans and MJHS policies
• Monitor and document vital signs, patient status, and responses to interventions
• Assist with activities of daily living, comfort measures, and safety checks
• Communicate changes in patient condition promptly to the care team
• Support families with education and emotional reassurance during overnight hours
• Maintain accurate electronic health records and required documentation
• Follow infection control, safety, and regulatory standards at all times
• Collaborate with interprofessional staff to support holistic, mission-driven care
