Security Officer Overnight

As a Security Officer Full Time Overnight i in SOMERSET, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier financial institution location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, remain visible to help deter security‑related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

In this unarmed role, you will support daily operations with professionalism, teamwork, and integrity while bringing a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative approach to every shift.

Wed 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM, Thu 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM, Fri 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM, Sat 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM, Sun 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by following site‑specific procedures and supporting security‑related activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate observations to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entrances, common areas, and perimeter to help identify suspicious activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and report discrepancies, unauthorized entry attempts, and/or maintenance concerns.
• Complete required reports and document daily activity, incidents, and/or observations while supporting emergency response procedures when appropriate.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
