Position: Lead Piping Superintendent: Safety, Schedule, Leadership

The jobsite located in Baytown, TX has an opening for a Piping Superintendent
. This role is responsible for leading and overseeing all piping construction activities while ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with OPD and client requirements.

The Piping Superintendent provides leadership to General Foremen, Foremen, and crews, partners closely with project leadership, and serves as a visible role model for safety, quality, and production.

What

You Will Do
  • Lead and oversee all piping construction activities on the jobsite
  • Act as a safety role model
    , enforcing OPD and client‑specific safety policies and procedures
  • Supervise and support piping General Foremen, Foremen, and crews
  • Plan, coordinate, and sequence piping work to meet production and schedule goals
  • Review drawings, ISO’s, specifications, and work packages to ensure correct execution
  • Coordinate with Construction Management, Logistics, QC, and client representatives
  • Anticipate and address safety, quality, environmental, and schedule risks
  • Monitor manpower, productivity, and equipment utilization
  • Ensure accurate documentation including daily reports, manpower tracking, and progress updates
  • Lead with professionalism and promote a positive, respectful jobsite culture

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Extensive experience in industrial piping construction
  • Prior experience leading piping crews and foremen in a supervisory role
  • Strong knowledge of piping systems, materials, tools, and construction methods
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, ISO’s, and specifications
  • Willing and able to work extended hours and project schedules
  • Willing and able to travel as required for project needs
  • Must be able to meet all physical demands of the job
What Will Put You Ahead
  • Previous experience as a Piping Superintendent or Pipe General Foreman
  • Experience in gas plant, natural gas, or petrochemical construction environments
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated success leading safety and productivity initiatives
