Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated OB Hospitalist to serve in Baytown, TX, as a locum provider. In this role, you will oversee obstetric patient care, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure positive birth experiences for patients. Required Skills:

• Valid and unrestricted Medical License in Texas
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN)
• Proven experience in obstetric hospitalist services or related inpatient obstetric care
• Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage obstetric emergencies effectively

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Familiarity with hospital-based obstetrics protocols and procedures
• Bilingual skills or additional language proficiency
• Previous locum or temporary physician experience

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Completion of residency in OB/GYN
• Minimum of 2 years of obstetric inpatient care experience, preferably in hospitalist roles

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to travel as needed for locum assignments
• Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Ability to adapt to varying hospital policies and procedures
