Our organization is seeking a compassionate and experienced Locum OB Hospitalist to deliver high-quality maternal care in Baytown, TX. Required Skills:

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
  • Active and unrestricted medical license in Texas
  • Board certification or eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Proven clinical proficiency in inpatient obstetric care and labor management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospital environment
  • Strong commitment to patient safety and quality care
Nice to Have

Skills:
  • Experience working as a hospitalist or in a locum tenens capacity
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • Ability to handle high-acuity obstetric cases confidently
  • BLS and ACLS certification
Preferred

Education and Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in obstetrics
  • Prior experience in a hospitalist or inpatient setting preferred
  • Recent hospital-based practice experience in Texas is advantageous
Other Requirements:
  • Ability to start on or before 12/31/2025
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends if required
  • Compliance with all hospital policies and state medical board regulations
  • Valid DEA registration and patient care certifications
  • Reimbursement for travel, licensure, and certifications when applicable
