Locum - Physician - OB Hospitalist – Baytown, TX

Required Skills:

Active and unrestricted Medical License in Texas

Board Certification or Eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology

Proven experience in hospital-based obstetric care

Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have

Skills:

Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems

Previous locum tenens experience

BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications

Bilingual abilities (English-Spanish) are a plus

Preferred

Education and Experience:

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school

Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in obstetrics

Prior experience in hospitalist or OB hospitalist roles preferred

Other Requirements:

Availability to start on or before 12/31/2025

Ability to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends as needed

Willingness to travel when applicable

Compliance with all licensure, certification, and healthcare regulations
