Maintenance Engineer

Borusan Pipe US (Baytown, TX) is hiring the following position:

• Lead technicians and engage them in troubleshooting equipment.
• Fix equipment according to the OEM’s standards.
• Work with the Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations Departments to effectively schedule, plan, and execute all P.M. activities, changeovers, and outages.
• Provide technical training to all mechanical maintenance personnel over the assigned section of the plant maintenance.
• Provide feedback to technicians based on job descriptions to determine competency, knowledge, and contribution of the maintenance technicians.
• Give technical solutions and suggestions, to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate and solve problems in a timely manner, and to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Initiate and carry out projects that improve the Plant KPIs such as efficiency and/or reduce operating costs.
• Implement and lead continuous improvement process and 5S to improve equipment reliability.

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field and 3 years of experience in the position offered or a Maintenance Engineer-related occupation. Position also requires 3 years of experience with:
