Senior APC Engineer

Major Responsibilities

• Initiate and develop advanced process control (APC) concepts and roll out in production areas.
• Identify and initiate projects in the fields of expertise (Dynamic Modeling, Operator Training Simulators, Advanced Control and Model Predictive Control as well as multivariate data analysis).
• Coordinate projects with various stakeholders (AI Engineers, PCT engineers, production units, process engineers).
• Initiate, set up and execute operator training (OTS) simulator projects.
• Develop dynamic simulation models for chemical and polymer production processes.
• Standardize project approaches from a global perspective and implement best practices in advanced process control and automation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Electrical Engineering or related field with 4+ years of experience, OR Master’s degree in Chemical or Electrical Engineering or related field with 2+ years of experience, OR PhD in Chemical or Electrical Engineering or related field with 1+ year of experience.
• Eligibility to apply for and obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) within a reasonable timeframe.
• Project management skills.
