We're looking for an experienced instrumentation professional who's ready to bring their real-world knowledge into the classroom. If you've worked in industrial instrumentation, process control, or automation and want to help others build a rewarding career, this is an opportunity to make a lasting impact on the future workforce.
What You'll Do:
* Teach hands-on instrumentation skills to students preparing for careers in industrial maintenance and process technology
* Demonstrate the installation, calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of industrial instrumentation
* Train students on pressure, temperature, flow, and level measurement devices
* Introduce students to process control systems, control valves, and industrial automation concepts
* Prepare students for industry certifications and entry into the workforce
* Support and mentor students as they develop the technical and professional skills needed to succeed
What You Bring:
* Strong, hands-on experience in industrial instrumentation and process control
* Knowledge of instrumentation calibration, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance
* Experience working with transmitters, control valves, analyzers, and process measurement devices
* Familiarity with PLCs, DCS, HMI systems, or industrial automation (preferred)
* Ability to clearly explain and demonstrate technical concepts in both classroom and laboratory settings
* Perform other duties as assigned.
You must meet one of the following:
* Associate degree in Instrumentation Technology, Analytical Instrumentation Technology, Electrical Technology, or a related field plus five (5) years of relevant work experience
OR
* Bachelor's degree plus three (3) years relevant work experience
OR
* ten or more (10+) years of relevant work experience and willingness to complete an Associate degree in Instrumentation Technology or a related field within three (3) years
Preferred:
* Master's (or higher) degree in a qualifying field OR Master's (or higher) degree and at least eighteen (18) graduate hours in a qualifying field
No Teaching Experience? No Problem.
