RoleConducts consumer loan quality and risk reviews; provides staff support to ensure that proper loan information is collected to maintain acceptable credit standards conforming with CRCU loan guidelines and policies; disburses loans, completes loan files and secures CRCU lien on collateral. Assists and processes member service requests. Demonstrates thorough knowledge of the functions within the Loan Central Department. Adheres to Community Resource Credit Union policies, procedures, and to federal and state laws and regulations.
EssentialFunctions & Responsibilities
- Reviews loans to verify rates/terms, data fields, tracking, and records are accurate and compliant with loan procedures.
- Reviews all loan documents for completeness and accuracy.
- Processes loan funding by working with member and/or Personal Financial Officer on third‑party loan disbursements.
- Prepares and verifies documentation required to record liens on collateral loans that require title registration and UCC recording; follows up until liens are perfected; submits all title transfers to county tax offices.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Prepares weekly reports.
- Cross‑sells credit union products and services to members.
- Reviews loans for data accuracy and documentation compliance with loan policies and procedures.
- Secures CRCU liens on all collateral.
- Cross‑sells credit union products and services.
- Provides superior member services as defined in the credit union mission statement.

- Reviews opportunities for expense reduction or process efficiencies within the department.
- Assists in all areas within the Loan Central Department.
- Demonstrates an understanding of and compliance with regulatory requirements (BSA, AML, OFAC, CIP, MDD) and receives annual BSA/AML training.
Experience: One to three years of similar or related experience.
Education: High school education or GED.

Skills:
Work involves personal contact for conflict resolution, relationship building, and securing cooperation. Communications require confidentiality, diplomacy, and tact.
Other
Skills:
Good verbal and written communication; proficiency in computer use, 10‑key calculator, and typewriter skills; ability to quickly research lien registration matters involving multiple county and state requirements.
Physical Requirements: Must regularly use hands or fingers, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear; stand, walk, and sit frequently; maintain close vision. Work is performed indoors with potential hazards related to electronics work; may require periodic travel and exposure to robbery. Employees receive detailed instructions and procedures to minimize risk.
