Ensuring that couplings are properly doped, thread caps are placed and tightened on the ends. Also starting the couplings by hand for specified threaded end.
Working ConditionsWorking conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment; hot when weather is hot and cold when weather is cold. Greasy, dirty and noisy environment. Work involves lifting, pulling and/or pushing of materials and product up to 65 pounds. Standing and walking considerable distances. Operation requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protection, work boots, and hardhats.
Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted.
This position has the authority to stop work if he deems it necessary, for reasons of possible equipment, pipe damage or safety concern.
EducationHigh School or better.
