Hydrostatic Test Operator / Baytown, TX

LOCATION:

Baytown - Texas - USA

DEPARTMENT: INDUSTRIAL OPERATIONS

Purpose

Performs hydrostatic and drift test on seamless pipe in a safe and efficient manner following Work Instructions and Procedures while complying with Tenaris Quality standards.

Main Activities

* Must operate overhead crane

* Executes change over and set up of the machine using overhead crane.

* Performs Hydrotesting and Drifting machine operation.

* Verifies coolant levels, test time, and pressure meets work order specifications.

* Performs LOTO, preventitive maintenance (PM Day), and does daily operative maintenance (coolant level, machine adjustments, seals, etc.).

* Updates information in the tracking systems and records the obtained results.

* Performs housekeeping of own workstation and Finishing line if needed.
