Regeneration Operator 2

Regeneration Operator 2 is responsible for both mobile equipment regeneration and facility‑wide water management operations. This role requires advanced proficiency in chemical handling, resin regeneration methodologies, wastewater management, and overall facility water balancing. The incumbent oversees the entire lifecycle of resin handling, including unloading, reloading onto various mobile equipment, and supervising and monitoring resin regeneration and wastewater treatment processes while ensuring optimal water levels across the facility.

The Regeneration Operator 2 also serves as a backup shift lead, displays strong leadership skills, and demonstrates thorough knowledge of all facility operations, including dock activities, quality assurance protocols, and regulatory compliance.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor regeneration equipment within proper parameters.
  • Manage resin unloading and loading processes in trailers and regeneration vessels while maintaining equipment parameters.
  • Oversee wastewater management during regeneration and maintain deionized water levels.
  • Execute plant startup, shutdown, and safety procedures.
  • Enter SAP production orders for mobile equipment and resin regenerations to support resource allocation, inventory management, and cost control.
  • Conduct standard lab tests for quality control, including pH, conductivity/resistivity, silica, and TDS testing.
  • Keep thorough records of all activities – checklists, performance data, equipment issues, end‑of‑shift notes, and wastewater discharge logs.
  • Ensure safety compliance by wearing proper PPE, keeping the workspace clean, and following chemical hazard and spill response procedures.
  • Communicate regularly with supervisors and team members, providing status updates and participating in team meetings.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by suggesting process enhancements and staying updated with industry best practices.
  • Assign designated equipment to orders based on customer requirements and equipment specifications.
  • Operate forklift as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain it.
  • Commitment to safety.
  • Time management and organizational skills.
  • Experience with SAP or other work order/inventory software.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
