Quality Operator

• Conduct visual and measurement inspections on incoming and in-process materials. Confirm quality and specifications, communicate required adjustments, and reject and return unacceptable materials as necessary.
• Read blueprints, plans, and specifications to understand the requirements of products and services.
• Measure product dimensions, examine functionality, and compare the final product to specifications.
• Approve finished products by confirming specifications and conducting required tests. Return products for re-work if needed and complete documentation to confirm re-work.
• Document and update inspection results by completing reports and logs.
• Ensure measurement equipment is operating correctly by adhering to all operating instructions and performing preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Look for opportunities to adjust and improve production processes and procedures.
• Inform supervisor when quality issues and concerns arise.
• Assist supervisor with various audits and compliance projects as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Typically requires basic knowledge of job procedures and tools obtained through work experience and may require vocational or technical education.

• Possesses working knowledge of and ability to use multiple types of measuring equipment (e.g., scales, measuring tapes, micrometers, calipers, etc.).
• Demonstrates good written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrates good interpersonal skills.
• Possesses strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to analyze and present findings in a clear, concise, and logical manner.
• Possesses good organization, prioritization, and time‑management skills.
• Ability to meet critical deadlines and work in a fast‑paced environment.

The pay range for this position is $21.15 - $33.85. Competitive wage for new hires typically falls between $21.15 to $22.00. Offers may vary based on market data and other factors such as job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location.
