Hydraulic Technician

Overview We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Industrial Mechanic to join our dynamic team in Baytown, TX. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining and repairing hydraulic systems and machinery, ensuring optimal performance and safety in our facility. Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic machinery and industrial equipment.

Perform preventive maintenance and inspections.

Repair pumps, cylinders, valves, hoses, and mechanical components.

Read blueprints and hydraulic schematics.

Maintain safe work practices and complete maintenance documentation.

Work with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime.

Inspect, repair, and maintain hydraulic systems and components.

Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.

Perform routine maintenance on machinery to prevent breakdowns.

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

Collaborate with team members to enhance operational efficiency.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications3+ years of hydraulic/mechanical maintenance experience.

Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments preferred.

Ability to read hydraulic diagrams and use hand/power tools.

Welding or fabrication experience is a plus.

Must be dependable and safety-focused.

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in hydraulics or related field preferred.

Proven experience as a hydraulic mechanic or similar role.

Strong understanding of hydraulic systems and components.

Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
