Summary:

Identifying quality defects on pallets with damaged materials and repairing/replacing the materials in a safe and efficient manner. Occasionally operate stationary warehouse equipment as well as a forklift to transport materials.

18 years or older, have a valid driver's license and legally able to work in the U.S., pass a drug screen, physical and background check.

Job Tasks:

• Safety/Quality:
  Ensures all safety, environmental and operational procedures are followed.
• Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements
• Maintains the confidentiality of company, customer and personnel information.
• Performs all pre-operational checks to ensure equipment is fit for purpose. Reports any damage or defects as discovered.
• Performs safe pallet movements from point A to point
  
  B.
• Manually lifting and transporting 55 lbs. bags of material.
• Wrapping several pallets, a day.
• Takes necessary precautions to avoid damaging customer, company, or 3rd party property/equipment/product/etc.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualification and

Experience:

• Must have experience operating mobile equipment around pedestrian traffic.
• Must have some sit-down forklift experience.
• Must be able to read and write.
• Must be able to do basic math.
• Must be able to do physical labor for extended periods of time.
• Must have 2 years of relevant work experience.
