Logistic Technician - Baytown, TX

LOCATION: Baytown

** Must be able to work a ROTATING shift**

Purpose - Performs the operation of integrated pipe yard control and pipe dispatch in complex facilities, in a safe and efficient manner according to applicable procedures, complying with defined quality standards.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize production schedules for Heat Treat, Finishing, Venom, and Threading operations based on production priorities, material availability, and equipment capacity.
  • Coordinate daily production activities to ensure materials are released, tagged, staged, and available to support scheduled production.
  • Monitor schedule execution and make real-time adjustments to address production changes, staffing needs, equipment constraints, and material shortages.
  • Manage and prioritize rework activities to minimize production interruptions, reduce inventory aging, and support customer requirements.
  • Prepare and communicate daily shift reports, production schedules, shortages, risks, and operational updates to production and support teams.
  • Investigate and resolve production delays, inventory discrepancies, system issues, and operational requests through cross-functional communication.
  • Coordinate sample identification and material movement to support quality and testing requirements.
Qualifications
  • Experience in production planning, scheduling, manufacturing, or operations coordination.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, problem‑solving, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
