Baker Ripley works with Neighbors in approximately 60 service locations to help them discover the strengths and skills necessary to become productive and self-sufficient, so that they can fulfill their aspirations to earn, learn, belong, and be well.

Through our work in socioeconomic mobility, health and wellness, and education, Baker Ripley is addressing the inequities that prevent our Neighbors from navigating a pathway to achieve their dreams.

Purpose:

Coordinate outreach campaigns, partner engagement, events, workshops, and activities that expose youth to career pathways and training opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and facilitate career exploration events, tours, and job shadows.
  • Facilitate work readiness classes and workshops (communication, teamwork, professionalism).
  • Deliver labor market-driven presentations to schools and youth groups.
  • Partner with ISDs, training providers, and nonprofits for outreach.
  • Promote resources, digital tools, and HGCY collateral.
  • Document participation and track outcomes for reporting.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:
  • Associate's degree OR equivalent experience in event planning, youth programs, or marketing/outreach.
Preferred

Skills:
  • Public speaking and facilitation skills.
  • Experience working with schools, nonprofits, and community partners.
  • Experience working with disconnected or at-risk youth populations.
  • Digital engagement and social media outreach skills.
  • Personal computer literacy required, including effective use of the Internet, e-mail, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook);
  • Ability to meet and/or exceed set goals and objectives;
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, organizational skills, and communication skills, both oral and written, required
  • Exceptional time management skills to meet deadlines and work under pressure
