Job Title
Full‑Time Retail Sales Associate
Compensation$10.00 to $14.00 per hour plus commission.
Earn up to 8% commission on transactions, averaging an additional $3.36 per hour on top of hourly rate.

- Flexible working hours – most stores open 9AM to 6PM; many close on Sundays.

We seek entry‑level, full‑time sales associates for pawn store locations nationwide. The associate partners with the entire staff to deliver customer service across lending and retail operations, greeting, engaging, and assisting customers with sales, loans, and other transactions involving jewelry, tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more.
Responsibilities- Greets and interacts with all customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
- Performs non‑management open/close procedures.
- Maintains the sales floor clean, stocked, and displays merchandise.
- Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Handles all cash and negotiable items following established policies.
- Answers incoming calls per company standards.
- Communicates legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
- Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, displaying respect.
- Partners with all employees to create a positive customer experience.
- Completes assigned training successfully.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Must be willing and able to lift or carry up to 50 pounds.
- Must be willing to perform tasks requiring standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting for extended periods (per legal requirements).
- Ability to work with firearms and obtain firearms certification.
- Employees may be asked to assist a customer outside the store or retrieve products from exterior storage areas.
- Minimum age 18 years.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Strong desire to work, serve customers, cooperate with others, and be team‑oriented.
- Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficient basic math calculations.
- Cash handling experience preferred.
- Ability to work at multiple locations as business needs dictate.
- Must be able to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Computer literate; able to operate POS systems and common office machines.
- Bilingual applicants encouraged.
Pawnbrokers can earn 2-8% commission based on the gross profit of their performance. Detailed information provided during the interview.
