Job Overview

Pay: $10.00 to $14.00 per hour plus commission up to 8% (average additional $3.64 per hour).

We offer a commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process.

• Greets and interacts with all customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
• Performs non‑management open/close procedures.
• Maintains a clean, stocked sales floor and merchandise display.
• Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with established policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Handles all cash and negotiable items in line with policies and regulations.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Explains the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions effectively.
• Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, using respectful communication tools.
• Partners with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience.
• Completes the assigned training successfully.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Willing and able to perform duties for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, etc.).
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
• May be asked to assist a customer outside the store or retrieve products from exterior storage areas.
• Minimum age: 18 years old.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team‑oriented.
• Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations proficiently.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Can work at multiple locations as business needs dictate.
• Must be able to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.

Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2‑8% commission based on gross profit of personal performance.
