You will complete routine patrols of assigned areas, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver clear, respectful customer service.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to all visitors and personnel by following site-specific access control procedures, issuing visitor credentials, and directing individuals to appropriate check-in locations at a utilities facility.

+ Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, and document access activity in logs and/or systems in accordance with established security-related procedures.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifications to site contacts and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, operational areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify maintenance and/or policy concerns to report.

+ Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including assisting with evacuations, controlling access to impacted areas, and completing clear incident reports for Allied Universal management and site leadership.

* + A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
